"Place some small stones around the feed. The stones should be larger than the seeds. This discourages squirrels and encourages birds to feed."

"I mix cracked corn with my sunflower seeds. all of my patrons seem to like it. I also plant lots of sunflowers for the finches. Lots of butterfly bushes for the hummingbirds and hummingbird moths."
