Bird Feeding Tips

To keep squirrels and raccoons from my bird feeders, I string a fishing line between two trees. The trees are about 15 feet apart and I hang the bird feeders from the string. I don't know if they can't see it or it's too thin to walk, but it's working so far. I'm sure it looks like free food just hanging in the air out of reach.
